Appetite for Health offers a range of billing options

Different fee structures are charged for initial consultations, review appointments, and meal planning services.

PRIVATE HEALTH FUND REBATES: Most private health funds will partly rebate the cost of your dietitian consultation. This will depend on your level of cover; please contact your health fund to enquire about your specific entitlements.

Dietitians use codes 500 (Initial) and 600 (Follow Up).

MEDICARE REBATES: Your GP may refer you to a Dietitian under a Medicare 'Chronic Disease Care plan'. These plans allow you to access up to 5 subsidised Allied Health appointments per calendar year. You may be required to pay the total cost upfront, and then receive a Medicare rebate of $54.60 per visit. Please discuss with your GP to find out if you are eligible. You can visit the Medicare website for more information.

DEPARTMENT OF VETERAN AFFAIRS (DVA): DVA Health Cards (Gold) are accepted as payment with a GP referral.
